The Properties of this image shows that it was published by the Richmond Times Dispatch and their response to my email query is shown below. I did contact MOC, but not sure they would have any more knowledge that the Flag folks here. If I hear anything will let the Board know

Good evening, thanks for your message. That picture was taken by Zach Gibson, a former intern with the Times-Dispatch.

The image itself is from a reenactment of Picketts Charge during the 150th observance of the Battle of Gettysburg in 2013. This is the cutline attached to the photo:

"Confederate army reenactors march onto the battlefield for a demonstration of Pickett's Charge during the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on Sunday, June 30, 2013."

I could find no reference to which particular group this is, or any details on the flag. You may want to contact the Museum of the Confederacy, http://www.moc.org/. I expect their research staff can help you with details about the flag.

I am trying to identify a flag that appeared in a photo of a Civil War reenactment group. The flag is red white red in vertical panels. The properties of the photo are:
