I still do not understand why the veterans called it "Saint Andrews cross" why would this be?
And I kinda care about what it means today because I am trying to help undo the damage done to the flag.

This is mostly because I love the south and I love history I don't want that flag to end up in the ash heap of history just because some don't like it.
You should see the articles that have been written about it and most southerners.
I have been spat on, called names, had things thrown at me I've had people threaten to KILL me and I have had people key
"I'm a racist klan member" and "I hate black people" on the side of my truck and someone slashed my tires.
Why?
Just because I have a few bumper stickers with the flag on it that say "I'm a proud desendant of a brave Confederate soldier"
I'm trying to stop all of this ignorance!
