Thanks Ryan. I went to the link you provided and read it all. The strange thing is this was a Confederate infantry unit and there was no number in the white bar. I could never find these guys' camp to inquire. Never seen such. But it was questioned at the event and in some of the pics that are posted on our facebook page. www.facebook.com/3rdrichmondhowitzers. It's a public page.
