I'm currently researching this unit and the battles that it participated in while in Arkansas. I know they were at Prairie Grove and Helena (I think). My wife had at least three relatives in the unit. Does anyone know if there have been any studies published on this unit? Would anyone have items that they would be willing to share? My ultimate objective is to write a history about this unit. Thanks in advance for all suggestions and help.
