Bob and Donna, Bless you both! Bob, thank you so much for all of the new information. With the Birth and Death information I now have more to go on and can order military documents like Dick suggested. You and Donna and Dick have given our family more information on my Dad's family than we have ever had! The information in Bob's message all relates to our family. I remember my Dad thinking his grandmother was his grandfather's second wife. I knew that my Grandmother supposedly had 7-9 siblings. The family story being that all of her brothers were 6'4' and taller and they were mountain people. I never knew her brother Jordan lived in Florida-I did not even know she had a brother named Jordan. Dad did know where Grandma was buried. Many of the other Bravos listed in the Find-a-Grave website are also my ancestors. They helped settle St. Augustine back in the 1770's.
I cannot thank you guys enough as this information will really make my Dad smile. I am a Second Grade Teacher and became very excited when I received this latest packet from my Dad and it showed my Grandmother had been one also. That is what started this latest quest. It just gets really confusing because of the
two cities named Pocahontas in Tennessee and then the one in Arkansas. They definitely spent some time in
Jonesboro though because Grandma Lottie, attended grade school there so I will continue to look there as well. Tabitha
