Ha ! Thanks. Actually, this is the first I have heard of the cave. So, you know more than I do. Making cannonballs in a cave sounds a little far fetched. Storing fixed ammunition, for field artillery short term sounds more like it. Reporter may have misquoted him or Wildcat may have just got it wrong. I seem to remember that his stories were very lively . For more information on Carter, you might want to contact Bill Rambo at the park.
