Fort Henry's unidentifed soldier
Mon Jul 9 21:27:38 2001
While researching my GGGrandfather service record I received his wife's, Rachel Duvall, Pension Application which listed her Father as Young Williams who had died at Ft. Henry in 1862. Ft. Henry had five soldiers that were killed when their cannon blew up. All are buried on the grounds and all but one are identified. Rachel was born in Blount Co. Ala. March 20, 1847. Could Young Williams be that unidentified soldier?
Ultimate source for verification.
