It has been stated that the State of Illinois maintains
a "basketball court size" building containing Confederate flags, "thrown on the floor" and "leaning against the walls"
The evidence is given that "I heard this from a good authority". There is no real evidence here, just rumor!!
The fact that the State of Illinois admits to no such storage facility does not indicate that they seek to hide the truth! It may very well be the TRUTH!!!!
The Illinois State National Guard Museum in Springfield does
hold among its collections ten Confederate flags. These flags are well taken care of and are given the same consideration as the Illinois flags in their keeping. They are visible for all to see on the Museum's web site located at; http://www.civil-war.com/flag.htm

Why hide some and not all?????
