I have an ancestor, MB Parsons, that I cannot find a birthplace for. The info from the Texas State Achives - Confederate Soldier's Home - show that he told them he was born in AL and served in Co. B of the 2nd AL in Holtzclaw's Brigade. The info I have found on Holtclaw's does not mention this Regiment. The only places I can "nail him down" are Iuka, MS, after the war and TX where he died in the Confederate Soldier's Home. Does anyone know how I can go about getting a roster or maybe someone knows something about this regiment?
