I had Brenda's story confused with another person. Her M.B. did indeed survive the war. So this information does not rule out this being her M.B.

Brenda, if you could discover M.B.'s first name, it sure would help to match him to this Miltyre, or be able to rule him out. Apparently, Miltyre went by the initials M.B. At least that is how all his records, except one, are in the microfilm. That adds to the likelihood that this is your M.B.
