Although I didn't copy the words verbatim, in the San Antonio Tri-Weekly Express of 3/29/61, I note a "sound dissing of illustration in Harper's purporting to show SA; Carolan's auction house being the only thing they got remotely right."

This is in the "Newcomb Collection" in the San Antonio Central Library's Texana room, on microfilm. I'd try to read that before taking Harper's picture at face value.
