Re: Austin City Light Artillery Company

I happen to be visiting Austin this weekend and will look at those buildings--thank you. Part of my trip was to look at a house on 708 Patterson St. ( off of 6th street near Mopac) which was apparently built by J.L.Buaas in 1872. I believe the new owners recently purchased it out of foreclosure--it is not in good shape and has had serveral additions. I want to take pictures of the original structure while I have access from the owners. I know very little about its history--other than it has a name/date stone in the front outside wall reading J.L. Buaas 1872.
