This appears to be an old thread, however, I noticed that J.L.Buaas was mentioned as a friend of J. Schneider. I was curious if J.L. Buaas showed up as part of this Artillery Company. I was under the impression he was alway pro-union. Also, how did you(original poster) find out he was a friend of J. Schneider?
