Does anyone know where the Tennessee 10th Calvary Company E was positioned at during the Battle of Nashville?? Several of the redoubts, peach orchid hill, Shy's hill ???? What about at the battle of Franklin? Also, I saw several references to a skirmish on Yellow Creek in Dickson County. Does anyone happen to know about what area of Yellow Creek that was at??

I was trying to follow the "Civil War Trail" on an ancestor S.F.Gilmore and his brother R.M.Gilmore who were both privates with the !0th Tennessse Calvary Company E in December of 1864. S.F. was captured at the battle of Nashville.

I had hoped to be able to follow the movements of the TN.10th Calvary Company E for the year of 1864 and visit the sites where they were.

THANKS for any info!
