I see now that this was evidently a part of the consolidation of all cavalry commands in the district ordered by Gen. Forrest, S.O. #28, Feb. 13, 1865.
I do not see what happened to William C. Mobley, but Lt. P.M. Mobley was paroled at Memphis, as a member of Co. G, 7th Miss. Cav. following Taylor's surrender.
