Dear Sir: I am extremely sorry for the delay in responding to your request. I do not view this site a lot (my loss) but I can offer not other excuse. Yes, I did find your soldier. Pvt. Charles Robert Hemphill, Jr. Age 26, killed at Franklin, Tennessee and buried in the McGavock Confederate Cemetery, Mississippi Section 28, Grave #105.
The 31st Lost 4 men killed or mortally wounded in this tragic Battle. Hope this helps in some way. Tim Burgess
