According to the cards that appears to be the case. You would have to read the unit history of each unit and compare the timeframe of each units movements with battles fought and his cards. One point I failed to mentioned his cards stating service inn the 2nd Mississippi, I do believe this is an error on the copyist part, I think those should also be 5th Miss. I would discount his service at Malvern Hill since I just cannot read the reason he is sent to Richmond Hospital.

Are you only using family history for research or do you have his CSR's (service records)?
