I'm not sure you DID go wrong! I found him in company F of the 5th but after your post checked the 13th and found him
in company A. He was listed as J. J. McDaniel in both. So now I'm completely confused. Perhaps my great, great had an evil
twin? Nah, cuz if he did, then the guy would've been in a Pennsylvania company. I'm having a much easier time with another
great, great who was in the 1st SC (McCreary's). J. J. is giving me problems. Sigh. I should stick to great, great grandmothers
as they're easier. I just happen to be fond of great, great grandfathers. I have this guy's silver service from before the war and
so he's always been particularly real to me...unless the silver were actually his twin's...then I'm sunk.
