Looks like the regiment, for most of June, was assigned to the Department of the West, under General J. E. Johnston assigned to Adam's Brigade, Walker's Division and later Cosby's Brigade, Jackson's Division. I'm thinking since Johnston was at Benton on the 8th of June, with the Jackson, MS headquarters, he must have had the Quartermaster supplies from Jackson, with him. I'm going to guess Wirt Adams Regiment got its issue of supplies, on that day, from the Jackson Quartermaster supplies.
