As stated earlier, it's a long shot, but this way, you have no idea whether you hit anything or not. Even if you have the right first and last names, it's imperative to know where the man in question lived. That's because so many men living in 1860 had exactly the same name and initials. I would also want to know his age and occupation in 1860.

I guess guessing can be fun, but other than that, I can't think of a positive result.
