As I said in my first post....it is a long shot. We don't know for sure what his first name was....he had a son named William S. (born in Mississippi) that said the last time he saw his father, he was riding a horse and carrying a sword. That lead us to believe he was a soldier.

If we could find the man, it could put us in the area of Mississippi that William S. was from, as well as his half sister - Dora McCurdy.

Maybe you would be willing to give what info you have on the 6 you found. It would be a start for us. We could at least eliminate some of the possibilites.
