My thanks to all on this board for the great work you do.

I might share that after the ceremony for E. B. Rembert at the Fannin Methodist Church Cemetery on 2May09, my wife and I went to Wesson and visited the grave of F. M. Rembert, Edwin's father. Your information on F. M.'s service means a lot to us and to Rembert cousins I met with on Monday. One cousin is named Kate Hampton and yes, her husband is a desendent of Wade the 3rd of SC.

Yesterday, my wife & I were at Vicksburg for the 1st time. We visited the point on the line where the 36th MS stood and thru a great guide, received a detailed account of the carnage that took place in front of their line in May of '63 and knowing that Lt. George W. Rea and his brother Pvt. Robert Wiley Rea (later Dr. R. W. Rea of Wesson) where there during those difficult times sent chills thru me. F. M.'s daughter and Edwin B.'s younger sister, Bettie Rembert married George and Robert's younger brother, James S. Rea and they are my g grand parents.

Hope I haven't rambled on too much.

Thanks again, Edwin Rea

PS: If any of the re-enactors at the Fannin Cemetery, Saturday last, are on this board and read this, my ever lasting appreciation and thanks. I'm sorry I didn't get each your names and would love to hear from you.
