I glad to hear you have honored your ancestor E. B. Rembert with this ceremony, he is probably just as proud of you as you are of him.

As a resident of 1860 Copiah County and the information provided by George Martin and Alan Pitts, your Francis Marion Rembert is the logical choice for this soldier. Thanks to Jim Huffman, also a regular contributor to this message board, for providing a look up of the index of Confederate Pension Applications, none were found.
