Yes, the Ulmans are from Miller County. The first Osage Tiger you listed is Joseph Ulman. The second is John Ulman born in 1810. There was a lot of mingling for both sides between Tuscumbia and Linn Creek as the boats ran up and down the Osage River. The puzzle will continue - perhaps Capt. Roberts did administer an estate in the middle of serving in the CSA. There is no probate record for this estate in Miller County, and Camden County's records burned. I'll see if Hot Springs has any probate records for this time period. I hadn't published the Osage Tigers info yet as it's incomplete, but I just put it online if you'd like to review it. As always, corrections, additions, etc. are welcome.
