I wanted to personally thank you on behalf of my Great great grandfather. He was Jean Adam Genger, private, Co. B, "Marion Rangers" Vincent's Brigade, 2nd LA Cavalry from Natchitoches Par. LA. You are most definitely correct when you pointed out that the Troopers of the 2nd LA Cavalry were from South, Central and North Louisiana. The Brigade was, as you stated, from all over the Pelican state...Louisianians All! Thank you again for pointing out this fact.
