I would like to know if anyone can tell me where you would look to find the Surgeon's report filed by Dr. Samuel Choppin at the Battle of Shiloh.
Dr. Choppin was the surgeon who operated on General A.H. Gladden, after he was wounded at Shiloh on April 6, 1862. General Gladden died on April 12
living a few days after he was wounded.

I would like to see the date that Dr. Chppin actually performed the surgery.
