Fantastic information, thanks. Since I don't find the information on his detached service taking care of the sick soldiers in his CMSR, I assume that you must have had access to some other source such as a morning report book or something similar? Adams is my gg grandfather and I would like to document the source if possible.

I did a quick search on the Moye plantation and see that it was called "Dancy Plantation" but I haven't been able to locate it other than as you said, near Centerville. Since it was on a plantation, I suppose it would be possible that Adams and Scarborough could have been buried with permanent markers next to a family plot. I would appreciate any help on locating the plantation.
