Thank you, Art, for replying to my post. You are correct about the facts: it is impossible, as it would be today, to determine just how many and all of their names that have occupied Fort Humbug. You are not being negative, in my opinion, you are only expressing the obvious. I served in the United States Air Force in a small unit who had countless airman come through, and although the unit I served was highly recognized for its service, it is impossible to determine who served with this unit during its period of existence from 1965 to 1974. The same goes for the unit I served in with the Louisiana Army National Guard. It served with distinction, but again, like many Army units, no one can accurately say who served with them because of the scattered records which would have to be individually researched.
