I'm afraid I don't have a lot of information on him. I know he was a POW & escaped. Then after the war was over, he somehow managed to make it home. At one time he had an interview recorded about his time as a POW. I would love to be able to herbal copy. But my grandmother, his daughter was told that all the copies were destroyed, at his request. It seems that when he was asked about his children, he only mentioned the 4 with his current wife & not the other 3 (including my grandmother).
