Born April 1841 in Fulton County KY. He married Sarah Elizabeth Hicks 16 Dec 1858 in Kentucky. Sarah was born May 1839. James and Sarah had 4 children, Margaret, Adelle, John and Sarah. Sarah Hicks died 26 April, 1893. James died after 1900.
Walker, William S.
Born about 1844 in Fulton County, KY. He married Susan M. Franklin on 05 March 1875 in Hickman County, KY. William and Susan had 4 children, Bell, Mary, Charles and SNW.
Walker, Alfred Jesse
I have seen his middle name as Jesse and as James. At the moment I don't see where I got James...I'll investigate my notes. A. J. and his wife, Susan Mary Butler, were the 1st of the Walkers to venture to Texas. Settling in Forney, Kaufman County. He was highly respected citizen of Forney. With his expertise as a carpenter and contractor, Alfred oversaw the building of the first Church of Christ and Forney public school. There are pictures of Alfred in the Forney Country A History of Northwestern Kaufman County by Jerry Flock.

Josiah Taylor Walker
Born July 1846 in Kentucky. He married Narcissus Lettie Fortune on 27 August 1868 in Belleville IL. For the first years of their marriage, Josiah and Narcissus traveled between KY and IL. Eventually they followed Josiah's cousin and settled in Kaufman County, Texas. Josiah was a Blacksmith. He and Narcissus had 13 children. Sadly, their youngest died of measles as an infant. Josiah and Narcissus were active members of the Church of Christ. Josiah died between 1900 & 1910. Narcissus moved to Dallas and ran a boarding house. She died 24 January 1924
