I know and understand every term and everything you are saying about a symmetrical Confederate Battle flag. I guess the word orientation is a bad bad word for you. What I'm saying is looking at the CBF, hoist on the left and fly on the right, the middle star is the only thing that gives you a (new words here) Reference or indicator of the flag's position. Lets say a seventh grade artist is going to paint a CBF flag for his art project, which would probably be bad idea in today's times, no matter how he places the middle star he have will one of it five points pointing close to up or down, it's just the math of degrees. At this point he hangs his fine art work on the wall for all to see. He has placed a nice piece of art wire on back to hang it by, the wire is long enough that it can hang (Oh lord here we go again) middle star pointing up or down. But he's thirteen years old and does notice or care that it could be hung either way. He hangs it the fastest or easiest way, now his rebel flag loving art teacher from LA (Lower Arkansas) gets involved and ask Bo Jr. are you not proud of your work. Please take your flag art work down and sign the piece. (OMG not that) Now for ever and ever the flag has a top and bottom and will only be hung one way. Now you want to hear the one about Bo's dad Bo Sr. (Remember Bo know Repo) placing his Rebel flag license plate on the front of his 55 Chevy pickup and the middle star up or down question.
