Two more examples from different depots. If you look at the starts from upper left to lower right (upper hoist to lower fly), the stars all point to the same edge of the bar, not the top of the flag. The center star is merely a continuation of the pattern. The one with the red pole sleeve was made in Charleston, S.C., the other was made in Richmond, VA.
