In reply to Josh and to follow up on this post, from the second wool bunting on, at least the leading edge is machine sewn. The flag of the 14th Alabama Infantry WD347 is a 7th wool bunting. It is entirely machine sewn including the stars. We do not have close up photos nor do I have the time to take any in the near future.
