The Arkansas in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Adam Raedels G Co/12 Michigan Inf

After the Civil War had ended in 1865, those Union grave sites were moved to either
Little Rock or Helena. I know they were transferred to Little Rock with burial in the National
Cemetery, but not sure about Helena, some may have been sent to Memphis.
You probably need to check to see who is listed among the
dead at those cemeteries that I named.
Depending on a variety of circumstances, it may be a marked grave or it may not be.
I am not sure, but it is even possible his body was shipped home.
I am just a lady who likes history, not a skilled researcher, so be prepared for everything
to change.
