It would seem at this point we need a reply from John, as to what more he needs. It seem that from our perspective this is the man we are looking for.

With the name of even the Doctor who treated him it would seem we have about as detailed information as we could in most cases hope for. It would seem that maybe John could check hospital burial sites in the Pea Ridge area, possible the Pea Ridge NMP historian for additional information and historical perspective. Being taken as a Prisoner and treated in supposedly a Union field Hospital that better records may be available than being in a Confederate Hospital.
