If you say the Izard County man is the 27th AR man, that's good enough for me.
I saw that Jackson County article also. Young's company certainly was full of Jackson Countians, so unless he moved into Jackson County after 1860 (or was somehow missed by the census), the 1860 census man is our officer. I did a search of the 1860 and 1850 censii nationwide and I really can't connect the 1860 Jackson County Young to anyone else.
