Have not been able to confirm that the AA soldiers at Jackson, LA were from Arkansas and known to Col. Griffith's men. This would be a good project for perhaps a master's thesis in CW history...??

I am certain that something bad did happen to the AA soldiers at Jackson, LA since the event did manage to go up the CSA chain of command, not to mention that Col. Griffith was never promoted beyond rank of colonel. War IS all hell to quote Uncle Billy....
