Yep that is pretty much the way I followed it. I have found the occassional bullet etc along some of those routes across the fields and woods in Grant Co. I was not aware that a skirmish was fought at Hurricane Cr on the retreat though. Canyou provide more info? THe one I mentioned was in Oct 1864. My calculation is the bridge over I 30 at Raymar Rd is where the road crossed. It came down that big hill to the south and on up to collegeville. But it could have came out more towards the old Collegeville school there in the Pine Crest cemetery area.
