There will be enough to do and see at the Park to fill at least a full day. The USS Cairo is remarkable itself, unbelieveable restoration of artifacts from inside the boat. There are reenactments of cannon firing and musketry.
A stroll down the river wlk in the city itself is very nice, just a fine old Southern city, was there last summer.
