Henry SealeRogersMon Nov 13 23:56:33 2000 I have found listings for the following four men that I am sure are the ones you are interested in. They were all members of the 18TH Alabama Battalion. This unit was originally a partisan ranger(cavalry)unit, but was later dismounted and became known as the 18TH Alabama Infantry Battalion and was attached to the 33RD Alabama Infantry Regiment, an unusual organizational situation. This unit was organized in Jackson County, Alabama. The men that I identified as the ones in question are : Captain George Rogers of Company C, Sergeant Samuel P. Rogers of Company B, 2ND Lieutenant William L. Rogers of Comany C, and Private James K. Rogers of Company B.
