Black in the CSA

:To think that the Klan was organized to harrass only blacks is just one more of the re-education tactics of the North/NAACP. The Klan was given it's name by those it fought, carpetbaggers and the local people who fought or leaned to the North. Blacks begame a target when they became pawns of the Northern carpetbaggers. All of this was taught in schools when I went (60's). I just learned in recent weeks, in Northern schools, they are taught the North did not own slaves. And an un verified fact was sent to me last week. At the beginning of the war, there were more free blacks in the South than Blacks in the North. Here in Miss., we have been raising money to put up a monument to the black CSA soldiers. We have a Black SCV camp also, who were active in keeping the Miss. Flag flying!
On another note, the congress of the United States has approved $250,000 dollars to erect a statue to black Union soldiers who MAY have fought at Vicksburg. It is my understanding that the only Black soldiers at Vicksburg were fighting for the South!! All of this in the state that is supposed to be the most racist in the country. I know you were not coming down on Miss. or the South, it's just that you seemed so surprised to learn of Blacks involved in the South/CSA, that I should bring a few of these facts to light.
