Hayes LoweRollWed Feb 7 10:50:07 2001 Well, before reading this, I had replied above that I might have found the Selma City Guard roll in Microfilm Roll 505, but if you have spent time with it then that rules out that possibility.I'm almost certain that the name Alabama City Guard is found somewhere in the Lockett's City Guard film. Like I've said before, it's been awhile since I looked at all this, but the online roll supports this as it is headed like this:Alabama City Guards(Lockett's Company)As I write that, I think that this may be a clue! Could Lockett's Company be only one company of a larger unit called "Alabama City Guards"?! Perhaps with some or all of the units that I name in my other reply above being the other companies? One more thought...perhaps I saw the Selma City Guards roll in the microfilm for units formed by the Confederate Government? Not likely I guess, but it is the only other place that I can think of that I would have seen it.Alabama City Guard Alan J.
