I don't know your location, but since you're looking for Virginians, many libraries in Virginia would likely have the microfilms of the Compiled Service Records of Virginia Regiments, or could order them through interlibrary loan. Of course, the National Archives in Washington, D.C. does have the records and microfilms.

Due to the fact that the soldiers are listed aphabetically, not by company, a list of the members of a particular company would be helpful so one wouldn't have to look at every card. (It would take about a week!). It's almost a needle in a haystack situation and there is no guarantee that the card would be there even if your information is correct. Good luck!
