"a common issue of people claiming their ancestor held Gen Lee's horse at Appomattox... all 147 of them" that says it all, this is such a huge issue thats the big reason why no stone goes in unless it passes the review board as I explained in my earlier posting. Yes I have also seen postings of lets hurry and get the stones in but how foolish can that be, being one of the 2 people on the final review board we have decided that if there is even the slightest question about a soldier then the stone doesnt get ordered untill a document is found to verify him.
There is actually a back up copy of my work which the SCV has access to, this was done in case something ever happens to me they will be able to continue without someone having to start over.
As you know how tough a project like this is can be the work the SCV is doing on the ground may be more challenging but I sure want to be there when that first stone gets placed..
