... Would you know if they have an intention of making available online the existing listing of burials at Oakwood? I know many of the records are fragmented and/or damaged. However having those known open tends to solicit interested parties and decendents to provide additional, missing and corrected information (spellings, full names, year of birth etc) that would make their task a little easier, once they see they are buried in there. Many dont know of Oakwood and typically less likely to blindly inquire on a burial. Previous organizations associated with Oakwood claiming to also be able to give such burial info. I wrote them several times and never a single response. So I know of many that by default have given up on anything or anyone making such claims... If they would take the extra step and show they are actually there and heres the known list etc.. Rather than this is what we want to do... More people may take it seriously and/or offer to help and/or contribute funds for their ancestors stone.. Just a thought and suggestion..
