Trust me George. Harrison's Landing is at Berkley Plantation. Berkley and Westover are side by side on the river. Harrison's landing was named after President William Henry Harrison who was born at Berkley Plantation. Evelynton Plantation (Edmund Ruffin family) is just west of both of these, with West Bend (also Ruffin family is just down the river on Kittewan Creek). East of Berkley and Westover is Sherwood Forest, home of President Tyler (search Fitzhugh Lee, USCT, and actions at Wilson's Wharf). Wilcox Landing is between these two sites. This is where Grant crossed the James after Cold Harbor on a pontoon bridge that was between a quarter and half mile long. I live about 15 miles from Harrison's Landing. Stop in sometime and I'll take you there.
