I'm looking for information about a William A. Gayle that served in the 28th Virginia Infantry. I am a direct descendant of him, and my family and I would like to know more about our history. Maybe a picture somewhere, but I have had no luck finding it. Also, if anyone can help me find a list (hopefully detailed) of their engagements. William (Willie) Gayle, born August of 1839 was in Company H, and was from Urbana. This is all the info I have. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks:-)
