Captain John T. Fisher, A. C. S., date of rank October 4, 1862, of Kentucky, is recorded on a list of Officers and Men of the Subsistence Department in the Trans-Mississippi Department to report to Jacksonfort, Arkansas, appointed April 30, 1863, stationed at A. C. S. Depot Washington, Arkansas September 22, 1863, General Order No. 40-3 of the Trans-Mississippi Department authorizes him "to purchase beef," stationed at Dallas, Texas February 20, 1865,
"Bonded"

His service record file which contains a number of handwritten vouchers, statements, etc. are found in M331 Compiled Service Records of Confederate General and Staff Officers, and Nonregimental Enlisted Men, Roll 93, which I believe may be procured through the service noted above in the red box.
