Re: 51st Virginia Miliita at Fort Donelson?

Capt. Issac Renner of the 51st Tenn. was captured at Ft. Donelson and died at the general hospital at Camp Chase on 05-23-1862. He is buried in Row 41 #52 Grave 2081, which is mistakenly identified as a Virginia soldier. Capt. J. M. Willis of the 51st Virginia and Capt. J. H. Mills 51st Tenn. (does not apear on the 51st Tenn. muster roll) apparently share the same gravesite. This is an error in the burial records also, probably from deterioration of original markers. I have a Corporal W. S. Parkenson listed as the 51st Tenn. His name can not be found on any muster rolls. He died on 10-09-1864.
