Hunt for 12 months, captured at Fort Donelson February 16, 1862, transferred to Camp Morton, Indiana prison camp, sent to Vicksburg, Miss. for exchange August 28, 1862, recorded as having deserted November 13, 1863 near Chattanooga, repeated on the Jan/Feb, 1864 muster roll
